Editorial Policy
How Vizitor's blog, guides, and comparison pages get researched, written, reviewed, and kept accurate over time.
Our Editorial Commitments
The four things we hold every piece of content to before it publishes.
Real, Named Authors
Every article carries a real byline. See who wrote it on our Authors page.
Product Claims Are Verified
Anything we say Vizitor does is checked against the live product before it publishes.
Corrections, Made Openly
When something is wrong or out of date, we fix it and note when the page was last revised.
AI-Assisted, Human-Reviewed
We disclose where AI tools help with drafting or research; a named person reviews and approves every page.

Report It →This policy applies to everything published under vizitorapp.com, including the blog, case studies, help center, and comparison pages. It exists so that anyone reading our content, or any tool citing it, knows how it was made.
Who Writes For Vizitor
Our content team is made up of named marketing strategists and writers who work full-time on Vizitor, along with product and support staff who review technical accuracy. Every author has a public profile with their real name, role, and LinkedIn on our Authors page. We don't publish anonymous or ghost-written company posts.
How We Research
Guides and comparison articles are built from a mix of:
- Direct product testing: features described in our content are checked against the live Vizitor app.
- Customer conversations: patterns we see across support tickets, demos, and onboarding calls with our 500+ customer organisations.
- Public sources: vendor documentation, regulatory text (GDPR, DPDP Act, OSHA, etc.), and other publicly available material, cited or linked where relevant.
Review Process
Every page goes through an editorial pass for clarity and accuracy before it publishes. Pages that make specific product, pricing, or compliance claims are additionally checked by someone on our product or leadership team who can confirm the claim is current.
AI-Assistance Disclosure
We use AI tools to speed up research, drafting, and editing, the same way we use spell-checkers or SEO tools. No page is published without a named human author taking responsibility for its accuracy. AI assistance does not change who is accountable for what's on the page: the byline is.
Comparison & "vs" Pages
Vizitor publishes pages comparing itself to other vendors. These are commercial content, written by Vizitor, about Vizitor, and are not independent reviews. We aim to describe competitors' publicly stated features accurately and to correct any comparison flagged as outdated or unfair by a competitor or reader.
Updates & Freshness
Pages referencing pricing, regulations, or time-sensitive events are reviewed periodically and updated when they go stale. The page's last-modified date reflects the most recent substantive revision, not a cosmetic edit.
Corrections Policy
If you find a factual error, outdated claim, or broken example, tell us at hello@vizitor.co. We investigate every report and correct confirmed errors promptly. Material corrections are made directly in the article; we don't quietly delete pages to avoid a correction.
Advertising & Sponsorship
Vizitor does not run third-party ads or accept paid placements on our blog or guides. All content is produced by our own team in service of explaining our product and industry, not for advertisers.
